World Pork Expo Follow-up

Presentations from a variety of topics are available for your management and staff that did not attend.
World Pork Expo, 25 Years
National Pork Producers Council

The World Pork Expo wrapped up June 7th with many presentations made about animal health, global trade, economics, and weather. These are many of the staples of animal agriculture and now they are available to others that could not attend the Expo.

The core set of many presentations are on SwineCast.com [2013 World Pork Expo] with some additional material from the National Pork Board's Pork Academy also available.

One of the main issues presented and discussed was the discovery of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV). Several sessions looked at the issues [audio: PEDV panel discussion] and detailed the path to discover, containment, control, and research the disease [video: PEDV: What is it and how will it affect me?].

Below are additional video presentations to cover those core farm staples: What the Weather Will Hold; If I have a better feed efficiency do I make more money?; and What is the Grains and Livestock Economic Outlook??.
