Kansas City is the venue for the 2012 International PRRS Symposium and a joint meeting with the National Swine Improvement Federation is opening the curtain on where we are in the PRRS control effort. The development of tolerance to this bug through genetic channels is working hand in hand with new control techniques and improved biosecurity efforts. Special thanks to the Pork Checkoff in addition to our sponsors for underwriting coverage of this conference.
On SwineCast.com are selected comments from Dr. Dale Polson [audio] has he overviews the industry evolution on the PRRS virus. He highlights where we are and what is working best in this fight.
Also, all the One Health Approach to Antimicrobial Use and Resistance presentation videos are now online from the recent program from the National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA). Presentations of note include Antimicrobial Use in Plant Agriculture and Surveillance On The Farm.
Hear and see the top One Health Approach presentations on line [playlist] at your convenience, made possible by NIAA and our sponsors.
Don't forget to add SwineCast® to your playlist!
