Dr. Andres Perez, University of Minnesota, aims to use mapping (spatial and temporal) to help better understand porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDv) and how it might spread. Dr. Perez shows there were areas and times at highest risk for disease and that disease spread in specific directions.
