Submitted by Raylee St. Onge on Wed, 04/16/2008 - 21:14.

INDIANAPOLIS —Truffle Media, the leading producer of agricultural podcasts including BeefCast®, DairyCast®, PoultryCast®, SwineCast® and CropVillage™, has selected J.L. Farmakis, Inc. to lead their national advertising campaign. An innovative livestock and crop information service, Truffle Media produces daily podcasts that offer current news, interviews with industry experts and coverage of national events.

“Due to the accelerated growth we have seen at Truffle Media, this is the critical next step in advocating our services and showcasing the support of our sponsors,” said Aaron Gilbertie, director of business development for Truffle Media.

“J.L. Farmakis, Inc. is a great fit for us – they have the same vision we do of impacting the agricultural industry through the use of multi-media technologies,” he added.

J.L. Farmakis, Inc. is an independent sales representative firm with offices in Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Connecticut and has specialized in the agriculture industry for more than 35 years. Over the past few years they have established themselves as one of the nation’s leading firms in Internet advertising, providing targeted Web buttons, banners and e-mail ad sales and consulting in addition to traditional print and broadcast marketing.

Bill Farmakis, president of J.L. Farmakis, Inc. said, “We are excited to work with Truffle Media and their leading edge podcast and five vertical communities in the livestock and crop markets. We look forward to expanding the awareness of this unique approach to the targeted ag advertising arena.”
