SwineCast® to provide coverage of Iowa Pork Congress proceedings

(INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana) — SwineCast is announcing a new partnership with the Iowa Pork Producers Association to provide coverage of the seminars at the 2008 Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines, IA.

SwineCast, sponsored by Elanco, will record the audio from each of the more than a dozen speaker presentations and make the recordings available online following Pork Congress. Each of the speaker’s PowerPoint presentations also will be made available for download.

“It will be great to work with a company that has the technical expertise to preserve these valuable seminars for future use,” said IPPA Producer Education Director Ali Smith. “We feel it’s a great partnership.”

Attendees and others will be able to access presentations on Iowa’s environmental regulations and manure agreements, managing input costs, occupational health and safety for pork producers and several other seminars at SwineCast.com/ConferenceConnection.

“SwineCast, the industry’s leading podcast, is pleased to work with the Iowa Pork Producers Association to deliver the Iowa Pork Congress proceedings,” said Ned Arthur, SwineCast host and director of content development for Truffle Media Networks.

The company has been producing podcasts for the swine industry for three years.

“We’re offering producers and others in the industry the convenience of consuming the seminar information at their leisure and the ability to share it with employees and co-workers,” Arthur added.

Information on how to access the online materials will be available at each Iowa Pork Congress seminar.

The 36th annual Iowa Pork Congress will be held Jan. 23 and 24 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
