BeefCast® features NCBA happenings in podcasts

Submitted by Raylee St. Onge on Fri, 03/21/2008 - 17:48.

INDIANAPOLIS — Didn’t make it to the cattle industry’s largest annual gathering? Log on to BeefCast® at www.beefcast.com and catch all the highlights from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association convention, held Feb. 6-9 in Reno, Nev.

BeefCast®, in partnership with Elanco Animal Health, is a three times weekly podcast that covers news, issues and educational events within the beef industry. Starting with the February 6th podcast, host Trent Fredenburg will share interviews and presentations from NCBA speakers addressing advancement in feed efficiencies, new industry partnerships, adding value to a calf crop and expanding international markets.

“The NCBA convention is always a significant event for cattlemen in terms of policy creation and educational opportunities,” said Fredenburg. “We were excited to be on site and covering the sessions all week, and to now bring this information to our listeners through BeefCast.”

Along with the audio podcasts, which can be heard via computer or downloaded to a digital audio player, additional NCBA convention content is available at the Conference Connections section of www.beefcast.com.

For show comments and ideas, or conferences you would like BeefCast® to attend, email feedback@beefcast.com or call 877-63BEEFCAST (877-632-3332).

BeefCast™ is one of five agricultural podcasts produced by Truffle Media Networks. Other shows include CropVillage.com, DairyCast.com, PoultryCast.com and SwineCast.com.
