Update on legislation introduced in Congress: Listen to conversation below on how detrimental this bill might be to the health and well-being of pigs, increase pork producers’ production costs and the price consumers pay for pork, plus jeopardize public health. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Louise Slaughter, Democrat from New York, would ban the use of animal health products that prevent or control diseases in livestock.
