SwineCast update for May 14, 2009: Transportation Biosecurity and Determining the Industry Cost of H1N1

Update for May 14, 2009

Markets slowly recovering from the impact of H1N1 but economists say the total industry cost is well over $60 million. All this for a virus which was poorly named.

NPPC says World Pork Expo will go on. John Wrigley visits with information on the program and a reminder of the date change. This year’s Expo takes place Wednesday through early Friday afternoon. Then the Bar-B-Que teams take over and turn up the heat.

SwineCast is proud to announce our Bar-B-Que entry in conjunction with well-known industry analyst and exceptional consumer, Dr. Dennis DiPietre. Dennis is a regular blogger on the headliners tab at SwineCast. We’ll be "twittering" the Bar-B-Qlossal program Friday and Saturday from the Iowa State Fairgrounds. See you there! .

We hope that you enjoy and benefit from these great resources! Please feel free to share these presentations with your colleagues and co-workers.
