SwineCast update for October 15, 2009, Who will prevail in the Canadian vs U.S. WTO MCOOL dispute?
Submitted by John Blue on October 15, 2009 - 11:03pm.
Have you cleaned out those corn storage bins for the new crop yet? We’re hearing a few reports that over achievers have emptied bins in preparation for the new crop, then had to hustle out and harvest a few acres because they didn’t leave enough to grind.
Good news on yields around our area. Hope the same for yours. One comment of concern… ear molds. Be watching that new grain for mycotoxin issues. Late, wet, damp grain will require special management in drying and storage. Just keep your eyes and nose open when those trucks pull in to dump.
