Submitted by John Blue on November 7, 2011 - 4:34pm.
The National Institute for Animal Agriculture provides support in mainstream media for our industry at large. A recent conference in Chicago provided space for dialogue related to an ongoing concern, the use of antibiotics in animal agriculture. Some of the conversation centered on the product availability not just for growth promotion, but for therapeutic purposes as well. If this is a concern for you, you'll want to check out the presentations online in their entirety at PoultryCast.com.
Pfizer Animal Health has upped their effort to meet the broader needs of the poultry industry with the addition late last year of significant diagnostic capabilities at their Durham, NC laboratories. The PoultryCast team recently toured the lab and visited with Senior Scientist Liz Turpin.
